Love’s ends the year with opening of four new locations
California, Indiana, Mississippi, New York; locations add 377 parking spaces; 312 jobsOKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 14, 2023 – Love’s Travel Stops is now serving customers in Michigan City, Indiana; Nicholson, Mississippi; and Watertown, New York, thanks to three locations that opened today. A fourth location in Salinas, California, is scheduled to open in the coming days. The stores add a combined 377 truck parking spaces and 312 jobs to these communities.
“Opening four locations in a single week is an accomplishment to be proud of and our team members are ready to serve customers with clean places and friendly faces in Salinas, Michigan City, Nicholson and Watertown,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s. “Each location will provide professional drivers and four-wheel customers with amenities that will get them back on the road quickly.”

In honor of the grand openings, Love’s will donate $2,000 to the following nonprofits in each town:
- Salinas, California: Salinas Police Department.
- Michigan City, Indiana: The donation will be split between the Michigan City Police Department and the Michigan City Fire Department.
- Nicholson, Mississippi: Nicholson Elementary School.
- Watertown, New York: General Brown Central School.
